In the second game of the year I went up for an interception and had my legs taken out from underneath me. I ended up landing on my arm, but that did not stop me from playing the rest of the game. I had an interception just four plays later. Later the next week I went to receive x-rays on my elbow. I broke my elbow and no one was sure if I would play another high school football game. The doctors put me in a hard cast and I sat out of football for week after week. The athletic trainers, Jesse and Nicole, worked with me day after day once my cast was cut off. They had me in their office every day doing exercises to strengthen my arm, and get it back to normal. I was told by multiple different doctors that I was done for the season. Thanks to Jesse and Nicole I only missed four games. I came back in week seven of the season and was able to play my final four high school football games. Just a few plays into my return I had an interception. I would have never been able to play again without Jesse and Nicole’s help. They made my dreams become possible.
